Minister announces $13.8 million for Houtman Abrolhos

The Houtman Abrolhos national park is to receive $10 million for capital works over a two-year period, and a further $3.8 million for management over the next four years.

WA Environment Minister Stephen Dawson made the announcement in Geraldton this morning.

He said this included $800,000 for a new office facility at the Abrolhos, $3.5 million for a jetty at East Wallabi, $1 million for a jetty on Beacon Island and almost $5 million for airstrip upgrades, pathways, interpretive signage and other infrastructure.
