Mitchell and Brown Black Friday sale twice as nice for lucky shopper
Mitchell and Brown Retravision’s Black Friday sale was a double win for Fiona Lord, who scored a sweet deal and a new car.
Ms Lord visited the Chapman Road retailers twice during the sale and it was her second trip for GoPro accessories that resulted in her winning the draw for a new car.
“It was a good excuse to go in. I’ve usually got to stop myself,” she said.
The new Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport is a far cry from Ms Lord’s first Corolla as a teenager, coming with active cruise control, lane trace assist and pedestrian detection systems.
Ms Lord hasn’t yet decided if she will keep the car, much to the disappointment of her 14-year-old daughter, who has been hoping it will be stored away for when she starts driving.
Mitchell and Brown Retravision’s Black Friday sale figures this year were beaten only by last year’s, making the $29,495 vehicle purchase well worth it for the local business to give away, although supply shortages meant the prize almost wasn’t possible.
“Stock at the moment is few and far between,” Geraldton Toyota general manager Zane Clark said.
