Motocross riders chase interclub glory

Geraldton Guardian

More than 100 motocross riders from across the State travelled to Geraldton to compete in a number of races last weekend for round two of the 2019 MotoX Interclub Series.

Riders as young as four whizzed around the Geraldton Junior & Senior Motocross Club track, shaking up the leaderboard in several of the categories.

But with one final round of the series still to come this month, and a miniscule amount of points separating those in front, no one could afford to be complacent this weekend.

Riders are not only competing for their own glory but for one of three clubs, Geraldton, Jurien Bay Motocross Club and Woodridge ATV & MX Social Racing Club.

At the end of the three-round series, the club with the highest number of points will take home the interclub shield.
