A new footpath will be built in Eastern Road, Geraldton, this month.

The footpath will be located between Caprice Road and Johnston Street, to the northern side of the road.

Work will begin on Monday and is expected to take three weeks.

A City of Greater Geraldton spokeswoman said the work was part of $544,600 allocated in the City’s 2017/18 budget for 1.77 kilometres of new footpaths.

Traffic management may be in place between 7am to 6pm daily while the work is carried out.
