New lighting for HMAS Sydney II memorial

Work will begin tomorrow on the installation of new bollard lights on the pathway to the HMAS Sydney II memorial and the area around the waiting lady memorial statue.

A City of Greater Geraldton spokeswoman said work was expected to last about a week.

She said lighting would be out in some areas of the memorial grounds during that time.

The City is asking people to obey warning signs and exercise caution in the area while work is in progress.
