Night of glitz and glamour for Nagle Catholic College’s Year 12 ball

On a hot balmy night, Nagle Catholic College’s Class of 2022 celebrated in style the highlight of their final year at school — the Year 12 ball. Thankfully (for all the girls’ make up) the ball was held two days before the Mid West was included in the Statewide indoor mask mandate so the students did not have to cover their faces. The guests of honour arrived in beautiful gowns and sharp suits to a red carpet and rapturous welcome from family and friends and were brought to the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in an array of stylish vehicles. From vintage vehicles, to sports car and Kombi vans, one couple even rocked up in a fire truck. Ryan Kennedy and Tess Mulligan were awarded Best Arrival, thanks to their blue Cadillac ride. Inside the venue, the ball was a night of glitz and glamour. The school said it was a “wonderful night for our students to celebrate their final year, with plenty of laughter, smiles and some great dancing moves on display throughout the night”. The Belle and Beau of the Ball awards were won by Hannah Heitman and Jai Craig-Fraser, while the Couple of the Ball award went to Adriana Ferraro and Taj Scott. The socialite award went to Shuo Tejada while Noah Davidson won best dancer.
