Noongar musician Phil Walleystack to perform in Geraldton
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Phil Walleystack will perform in Geraldton next week as part of National Reconciliation Week.
The Noongar musician has spent the last 10 years travelling around the world, taking his upbeat fusion of pop, rock and Aboriginal sounds to the United States, Germany, France and China.
With a natural ability to connect with any audience, Walleystack will take the community on a journey as he celebrates his culture and embraces contemporary music and dance.
Walleystack will play songs from his back catalogue and some new music from his upcoming album, Storytellah. He will perform at Queens Park Theatre on May 29 at 6.30pm.
National Reconciliation Week runs from May 27 to June 3.
Tickets can be bought at the Geraldton Regional Library, Visitor Centre, Civic Centre or online at qpt.cgg.wa.gov.au.
The show has received funding from Lotterywest.
