Round two of the MEEDAC GNFL Women’s season bounces down on Saturday morning as Northampton and Brigades face off at Northampton Oval.

The match will kick off Saturday’s festival of footy at Northampton, which is raising funds for the community one year on from cyclone Seroja.

Both sides will be looking for their first win of the season following losses in round one.

In the second game of the round, Chapman Valley take on Towns at Mazzuchelli Oval at 4pm.

Towns go into the game off the back of their 100-point win over Rovers in round one.

While Chapman Valley had a comfortable result against Northampton, defeating the Rams 6.5 (41) to 2.3 (15).

Mullewa begin their season away to Railways at the Recreation Ground on Sunday following their bye last weekend.

Railways secured a narrow four-point win over Brigades in round one, kicking a whopping 14 behinds for the game.

They will be hoping for a more accurate display in front of goal for round two.

Rovers have a bye for this weekend and will face Mullewa in round three.
