Round 11 likely represents the last hurdle to a third straight unbeaten regular season in the Geraldton Netball Association for the Aztecs after they won again last week.

The Aztecs faced a Pumas side who have been the closest challenger to the top two sides in the past three years, but once again they came up short.

Aztecs came away with a 50-38 victory, which is the closest margin these sides have had since the Pumas won the 2020 grand final, such has been the dominance of the two-time reigning champions.

In the early game, Kazuals won a high-scoring encounter with the Falcons 77-55 as they continued their unbeaten run against teams not named Aztecs.

Kazuals will face Aztecs in a blockbuster clash tonight with this presenting the last realistic hurdle to another Aztec unbeaten season.

Kazuals is the only team to get within five goals of the Aztecs in the past two years, but in 2023 they have lost their past encounters by 11 and 18 goals respectively and it will require an almighty effort to stand in their way.
