OPINION: Call for cameras as 4WD hoons damage Geraldton beach

Obviously, there are some people who cannot read. Or is it a case of some people who don’t care? The message of the sign seems pretty straightforward: Don’t go past here. But you always get those who believe they can go wherever they want at the beach, the favoured playground of many. For the next few hundred metres south of this sign at Point Moore, until rocks block their path, four-wheel-drive vehicles have ploughed through the sand, leaving deeply embedded tracks. And a solution to the problem? Maybe a camera can be discreetly placed on the top of the sign.
