Perenjori police respond to emergency landing by light aircraft in field, no damage or injuries

A light aircraft has made an emergency landing in a field in the Mid West, but the pilot escaped without injuries.

Perenjori Police said on Twitter they had attended the site of the landing, which was caused by mechanical issues.

“It’s not every day we get called for a plane crash,” police said.

“Luckily this one turned out to be just an emergency landing.

“The pilot managed to land safely without injury or damage.”

Police have been contacted for more information.
