Pet owners battle for best in show as Geraldton & Districts Kennel Club hosts conformation show

Geraldton & Districts Kennel Club recently hosted its highly anticipated Conformation Show for 2023, drawing in an impressive turnout of over 260 entries from across the State. Despite some blustery winds in the early morning, the warm weather created a pleasant atmosphere for showcasing these magnificent canines. The star of the event was undoubtedly the Bernese Mountain Dog, Supreme Champion Sennen Oops I Did It Again, who stole the show by clinching the coveted Best in Show title across all three shows. In Show 1, the Havanese, Australian Champion Hashki Zahlee, impressed the judges and secured the runner-up position. Show 2 witnessed the sleek and agile Whippet, Australian Champion Harroway Sublime, take the spotlight as the runner-up. Show 3 concluded with the Australian Shepherd, Champion Ochaye Globe Trotter, putting on a stunning display and earning the well-deserved runner-up position. The esteemed panel of judges, including Sue Mallia from Western Australia, Peter Marin from South Australia, and Lynette Niemann from South Australia, thoroughly enjoyed their time in the countryside. Prior to their departure, they were treated to a special tour of the town, adding a touch of local charm to their overall experience.
