Perth-based Pet City is coming to Geraldton.

Crothers Construction proprietor David Crothers said the pet supplies chain was building a tilt-up shop adjacent to Aldi on North West Coastal Highway in Wonthella.

He said the building, already 70 per cent complete, would be finished in “about six weeks.”

Pet City joint proprietor John Atkin said the fit-out will follow over several more weeks.

Along with Aldi and The Foodary Caltex, it will be the third business to open on the site Megara Constructions is developing.

Megara development manager Trent Durward said other businesses planned for the site were a liquor store and another commercial operation.
