No need to worry and call triple 000 or aviation emergency personnel.

The plane circling Geraldton this morning is not in trouble — rather the 21-seater is conducting pilot training at Geraldton Airport.

The training will continue until this afternoon, when the aircraft, used mostly for FIFO mine workers, will return to Perth.

“Pilots still have to be trained, even though there’s not many planes flying,” the person in charge of the training said.
