Police allege Geraldton man had taser weapon

A 31-year-old Geraldton man will face Geraldton Magistrate’s Court after police allegedly saw him carrying a taser early this morning.

Police said they were patrolling Beachlands about 4.30am when they saw a man acting suspiciously.

While speaking to him, they allegedly spotted him carrying the weapon in his hand.

He was charged with carrying a prohibited weapon.
