Police confirm 18-year-old woman behind the wheel of Jurien Bay 4WD rollover with three kids has died

A teenage driver behind the wheel of a car rollover in Jurien Bay earlier this week which also injured three child passengers has died in hospital. The single-vehicle rollover crash involving a Toyota 4WD happened on Monday about 9.35am on Canover Road in Jurien Bay. Emergency services were called to the scene, with three children, aged between one and seven, taken to Jurien Bay Medical Centre with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was taken by rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious condition. A WA Police spokesperson confirmed the 18-year-old died in hospital on Tuesday as a result of her injuries.
