Police hunting for seven firearms stolen in burglary on Geraldton home

Seven firearms have been stolen after burglars broke their way into a safe in a Geraldton home on Thursday.

Geraldton detectives are investigating the burglary and have alerted the public to the stolen firearms. According to police, the firearms were stolen when “unknown persons” forced their way into a firearm safe at a home on Woodman Street in Utakarra.

The incident occurred between midnight and 12.30pm on Thursday December 15, police said.

Police say the incident is being treated as a priority and extensive investigations are underway to locate the persons involved and the firearms.
