Police intercept major meth haul near Geraldton
Geraldton police have allegedly seized hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Brand Highway.
Police today revealed details of the alleged 818 gram seizure, discovered about 1.20pm in South Greenough on Friday.
Police said the drugs had an estimated street value of about $800,000.
A 26-year-old Geraldton man has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possession of unlawfully obtained property (cash) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
