Police release fatal crash victim’s name

Police have released the name of a man who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Chapman Valley Road on the weekend.

He was Dennis Alexander Rob, 62, of Northampton.

Police said Mr Rob died when his Harley Davidson ran off Chapman Valley Road about 11km east of Nabawa and struck a drain.

The accident happened sometime between 7pm Saturday and 5.20am Sunday.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Mr Rob’s family have been notified.
