Police say man in his 80s who died at Mill’s Lookout near Geraldton appears to have tripped or fallen

A man in his 80s has died after it appears he tripped or fell over at a lookout near Geraldton. A WA Police spokesperson said the man was found by a group of people who attended Mill’s Lookout at Narra Tarra, about 14km north-east of Geraldton, about 10.15am on Friday, May 24. Police and St John WA paramedics were called to the scene and attended, confirming the man was dead. “It is believed the man was walking in bushland when he appears to have tripped or fallen over,” the police spokesperson said. Police are not treating the man’s death as suspicious and will prepare a report for the Coroner. The recreational lookout area on Chapman Valley Road provides impressive views of the Moresby Ranges.
