Police say Post Office was burgled

Northampton Post Office was burgled early Friday morning, police say.

A WA Police spokeswoman said it happened about 12.35am.

“The offender gained entry to the premises but fled when confronted by a person who lives onsite,” she said.

“Anyone with information that can assist is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at https://www.crimestopperswa.com.au”

Police have also appealed for help using social media.
