Police seize amphetamines, cannabis

A man has been charged with two drug offences after Geraldton police allegedly seized amphetamines and cannabis during a vehicle search in Wonthella last week .

Officers allege a 38-year-old Midvale man was found with about 15 grams of amphetamines on Flores Road at 3.20am on August 3.

He was taken to Geraldton Police Station and searched, where officers allegedly found three grams of cannabis.

The accused was refused bail and charged with one count of possess prohibited drug (cannabis) and one count of possess prohibited drug with intent to sell/supply (amphetamine).

He will face Geraldton Magistrate’s Court.
