Premier Mark McGowan today announced a $300,000 grant to Northern Agricultural Catchments Council for a land care project in the Chapman Valley catchment.

Mr McGowan and Agriculture and Food minister Alannah MacTiernan visited Yanget Farm today to see a demonstration of natural sequence farming regenerating and rehydrating productive farmland in the Mid-West.

Rod O’Bree explained how he had used various techniques to combat erosion by slowing down the flow of water since buying the property.

They then stayed for a light lunch before visiting Rangeway Primary School, and flying to Carnarvon.
