Retailer back under Retravision banner
Mitchell and Brown is back under the Retravision banner, in a move managing director Steve Nanninga said will be rewarding for the business and the community.
The business has spent most of its almost 50-year history in Geraldton as part of Retravision.
It moved away from the brand in the past 12 years, but rejoined on October 1.
Mr Nanninga said the move would help the business grow.
“We’ve been thinking about what the next 10 years can bring, and being an ever-changing business and an ever-changing market, we decided to keep our strength and rejoin under a banner like Retravision,” he said.
“The best part of being back is the Statewide things Retravision do with their website, advertising and catalogue that won’t only give us more cohesion with our own business, but will give our consumers better offerings.
“At the end of the day, what we’re trying to deliver is the best result for our business and the best for our customers.
“We have a great loyal customer base and have had over the last 50 years. This will allow us to keep moving forward and keep Mitchell and Brown as a strength in the Mid West.”
One big change for Mitchell and Brown will involve expanding its presence with an online store — set to launch in the near future.
Mr Nanninga said what customers would notice most was the increase in great offers.
“Going under the new banner is just adding Retravision to Mitchell and Brown, nothing else changes but the value our customers will get,” he said.
“The ownership, the management and the staff will all stay the same.
“The big thing is probably being able to put better offers out there in the market, whether it’s bonuses or a lower price on a great range of products we’ve always had — we just see that getting better.”
