A 29-year-old man died when his vehicle struck a tree east of Jurien Bay on Thursday night. Major Crash officers are investigating the incident at Hill River, which they say occurred around 7.18pm. Police say a Mitsubishi Triton was driving south of Banovich Road when it failed to negotiate a bend, left the road and crashed into a tree. The 29-year-old man behind the wheel died from his injuries at the scene.
