Roadworks to take three weeks: City

The City of Greater Geraldton will begin roadworks on a section of Kempton street, Bluff Point, from Cecily Street to north of the reserve carpark, next Monday.

The works, which will involve removing asphalt and reconstructing the road, will take place between 7am to 6pm and are expected to last about three weeks.

A city spokeswomen said 10.3km of roads would be resurfaced after $,4,473,360 was allocated for upgrades in the 2017/18 budget.

She said people were asked to exercise caution in the area while work was under way.
