Rotary Club of Greater Geraldton launches online pre-bidding option for annual radio auction fundraiser

People are urged to place an online pre-bid from next week for the Rotary Club of Greater Geraldton’s most popular fundraising event, as major items are set to be revealed next week. The 32nd Rotary Radio Auction is just around the corner, this year offering a new and improved way to secure an item through an online pre-bidding link. The auction will take place next Sunday, November 5 at the Telstra Geraldton office, with volunteers taking telephone calls all day from 9am. Pre-bidding will go live from noon on Monday and close on noon on Friday, with major items available to view and place an early bid on. Rotary Club of Greater Geraldton secretary Di Gilleland reminded people to find their liftout with all auction items in next Friday’s edition of the Geraldton Guardian. “Make a note in your calendar, pick up your newspaper and highlight all those exciting items,” she said. On Sunday, November 5, bidders will tune into Triple M 98.1 radio and call 9965 4888 between 9am-3.30pm to place their bids. The Rotary Club of Greater Geraldton is aiming to beat last year’s fundraising total of $36,000.
