Chapman Athletic and La Fiamma both picked up wins on Monday night in round four of the Midwest Soccer Association Women’s season.

Chapman’s 2-1 win over Rovers at GBSC Sports Park keeps them on top of the table, three points clear of second-placed La Fiamma.

Goals from Selina Kiddle and Ricci Russell were enough to give their side all three points, while Bri Nicholson scored for Rovers.

In the other game of the night, La Fiamma defeated Marconi 3-0 at Salvatore Sciuto Park. It was only the second game the Reds have played this season due to cancellations.

The result leaves Marconi second last on the table and still looking for their first win of the season.

Olympic FC’s match with Abrolhos FC was called off due to COVID and injuries. It will be be rescheduled for a later date.
