Rude awakening for alleged burglar

An alleged burglar had a rude awakening in Geraldton this week.

Police say they found the 19-year-old man, who had allegedly broken into a licensed restaurant, sleeping on a chair inside, early on Saturday morning.

He was charged with one count of burglary and one of stealing.

He will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court later this week.
