The Geraldton Buccaneers tip-off the 2019 SBL season at home against the Rockingham Flames, suiting up at Activewest Stadium on Saturday, March 16.

The following weekend the Buccs will be at home to the South West Slammers.

Four successive home games — against the Goldfields Giants, Mandurah Magic, Kalamunda Eastern Suns and Perry Lakes Hawks — will be played between April 28 and May 18.

However, the final four games of the 26-round season will be on the road, against the Slammers, Magic, Lakeside Lightning and Stirling Senators.

The Buccs will have only one weekend off between mid-March and July 28.

There is a general league bye over the April 20-21 weekend, which is Easter.

The following weekend the Buccs are in Kalgoorlie on the Saturday night and at home the following evening, also against the Goldfields Giants. That is the only home encounter of their seven Sunday matches.

The Buccs will play 19 of their matches on Saturdays.

The SBL grand final is at the Bendat Baskeball Centre in Perth on Saturday, August 31.

The opening game of the season is a grand final replay between the Perry Lakes Hawks and the Joondalup City Wolves on March 15.
