Woorree Scout Group has finished 2019 with its annual wind-up and awards night.

Parents, guests and Scouts filled the Bluff Point Hall on December 10 for the awards, which were followed by a disco and dinner supplied by families.

The group is now enjoying a break after a big year of activities.

Group leader Lorraine Bowen said the Scouts would resume meetings on February 4.

“It was a great year for the Scouts, we’ve grown in both strength and numbers,” she said.

Cadeon McKenzie, Lillyann Treasure, Ethan Dahlburg, Nick Thomas and Bailey Weeding were awarded Scouts of the Year in their respective sections.

Ms Bowen said Scout leaders had finished training and were excited about the 2020 program Outdoor Adventures.
