The search for missing Geraldton man Dean Thomas Gellatly continues this morning, with police and emergency services deploying significant resources.

Mr Gellatly, 41, was reported missing after his car was found at St Georges Beach in Bluff Point yesterday afternoon.

Police said it is believed he was scuba diving in the area when he failed to return home.

His disappearance has sparked a land and marine search.

The search currently involves the Volunteer Marine Rescue Service, State Emergency Service, a fixed wing aerial spotter plane and police – including the mounted section.

Mr Gellatly is described as 181cm tall with a slim build, light skinned, brown eyes and brown hair.

It is not known what he was wearing when last seen, though he does have a broken arm in a cast.

Anyone who sees Mr Gellatly or has information regarding his whereabouts should call police on 131 444.
