Shane Love takes strong lead in Moore

UPDATED: 11.55pm. Nationals incumbent Shane Love has taken a commanding lead in the lower house seat of Moore after more than two thirds of first preferences were counted in today’s State election.

With 67.78 per cent of first preferences counted, Mr Love led with 5763 votes to Labor’s Barni Norton 3388.

Pauline Hanson’s One Nation came ahead of all minor parties.

The progressive vote fell as follows: Darren Slynns (Liberal) 3036, James Joseph Kelly (Pauline Hanson's One Nation) 2044, Ross Williamson (Shooters, Fishers and Farmers) 892, Peter Leam (Greens) 596 and Wes Porter (Australian Christians) 322.

Counting will resume tomorrow.
