A hay shed fire in Narngulu last week has caused more than $100,000 damage, according to the City of Greater Geraldton.

The Moonyoonooka and Waggrakine Bush Fire Brigades responded to the blaze on Brice Road around 7pm on Thursday.

The property owner and fire brigade fought the fire, but the shed was destroyed.

City of Greater Geraldton chief executive Ken Diehm said the damage bill was estimated at $100,000, with the contents of the shed valued at more than $5000.

Western Power attended the site and isolated the power feed into the shed.
