Showdown for Geraldton softball teams in season decider

The Geraldton Softball Association will hold grand finals this weekend.

Batavia Blaze play Marlins in the junior final tomorrow at 5pm, and Blaze play Rams White in the men’s B-grade plate final at 7pm.

Marlins play Pi’s Black in the women’s B grade on Saturday, while Pi’s play Suiside in the A grade.

Suiside Green play Martians Black in the men’s B grade and Rams in the A grade.

Association member Dion Harrison said the preliminary finals round last weekend had provided solid action, handy hitting and a glimpse of the future with promising young players coming through.

“It was an absolute banger,” he said.
