Stateside go back-to-back

Stateside capped off a superb season to claim back-to-back grand final wins in Geraldton Amateur Basketball Association women’s division one last night.
The Scorpions’ jumped out of the blocks against a brave Olympians and were never headed, surging to an 11-point lead at half-time and a 16-point lead at the final buzzer, 51-35.
Olympians, who finished the season with eight wins and seven losses, fought hard in the finals series to make the season decider, but in the end Stateside were too good.
The Scorpions dominated in the regular season with 14 wins and one loss.
Amy Williamson of Scorpions was named most valuable player of the grand final.
