The popular Sundays by the Sea will be returning to bring weekly music and food to the Geraldton foreshore next year. Since 2016, the program has seen live music and food trucks throughout summer and autumn to let residents soak up the sun. The City of Greater Geraldton announced it was looking for local musicians and food vendors to help bring the 2023 series together. City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said he was excited to see the lively festival event return. “Come summer, our community love making the most of the balmy afternoons and there’s no better way than having some dinner with friends and listening to some local music,” he said. “It’s always a popular event and a great platform for established musicians, or even up and coming talent. “So mark your calendars and if you’re interested in being involved complete an expression of interest.” The series will begin on January 15 and run until May 14. Musicians and food vendors interested in taking part can submit an expression of interest on the City’s website. Applications close on December 9.
