There will be plenty of action for petrolheads this Easter as the Geraldton Speedway hosts the Midwest Championships over the weekend.

The championships will see six categories of racers fight it out over two nights in an effort to claim the crown of the best in the Mid West.

Split over two nights the championships will see five rounds of racing with points on offer each round and a final winner being declared on Sunday night.

With most of the Sprintcars busy with a doubleheader weekend down south for the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series the headline act will be the super modified category with 16 nominations.

But there will be plenty of other action elsewhere as productions, Senior F125’s, Junior F125’s and Junior New Stars all take to the track while Matthew Peaker and Darcy Adul will dual it out in demo sprintcar events.

Entry for both nights will be $30 per adult with $15 for concession and kids, and regular prices for single night entry.

Gates will open from 3pm with racing to get under way from 6pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday.
