Tiger Sharks line up finals berth
Geraldton Tiger Sharks are looking to bank a win against Joondalup today as they continue to make a mark in the Rugby WA Community Grade.
The club entered the competition for the first time this year and have so far won all but one match, losing only to Associates Rugby Club, a powerhouse which has not lost a game in two years.
Tiger Sharks captain Josh Wilson said the team was training hard and advancing up the ladder with significant wins, including a 70-0 demolition of Perth Irish B and a 42-5 victory over the Bunbury Barbarians.
“We’re going great,” Wilson said.
“The team has been training very hard and bonding well.
“We’ve picked up a few injuries along the way, but nothing major.
“We’re pretty much on track to make finals as long as we book a couple more wins.”
The Tiger Sharks will take on Joondalup at HBF Arena, Joondalup, this afternoon at 1.50pm.
