Two drivers ‘clocked at 90km/h in 60 zone’

Geraldton police have allegedly caught two motorists travelling more than 90 km/h in a 60 km zone.

Mid West Gascoyne Traffic police tweeted about the incidents this morning.

“Two drivers, in a 60kph zone have not been doing the right thing. Please slow down and enjoy the ride,” police tweeted.

The penalties for travelling more than 19 km/h but not more than 29 km/h over the posted limit is $400 and three demerit points.

Speeders travelling more than 29 km/h but not more than 40 km/h over the posted limit can be fined $800 and given six demerits.
