Police are seeking information about a crash near Geraldton last night which left two Perth men with serious injuries.

A police spokeswoman said the accident happened on Brand Highway, Cape Burney, about 600 metres north of Rudds Gully Road about 11.30pm.

She said it appeared their 2014 silver Mitsubish Triton utility hit the gravel shoulder of the road and the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll several times and hit a tree.

The 41-year-old driver and the 23-year-old passenger were trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by emergency services.

They were taken to Geraldton Hospital and flown by Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital.

A hospital spokeswoman today said the driver was in a stable condition, while the passenger was listed as critical.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestoppers.com.au
