A 36-year-old woman has been arrested today by Geraldton police officers after attempting to sell electronic tablet devices believed to be stolen from a local primary school.

Geraldton police station operations manager Sergeant Steve Beswick said the woman was arrested at 10.45am and will face charges of possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property and fraud.

“Geraldton Police were alerted to this by a concerned citizen who was offered two iPads for sale by the woman,” he said.

Police will allege 10 of the electronic devices were stolen from the school between Thursday last week and today.

The woman will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court at a later date.
