Woman ‘four times legal limit’

Two drivers have been charged with high-range and mid-range drink driving in separate incidents in Geraldton early yesterday morning.

About 3.22am a 23-year-old Bluff Point woman allegedly blew 0.239 – more than four times the legal limit – when she was stopped in Geraldton.

She was taken to Geraldton police station, where that figure was rounded down to 0.230.

Earlier, a 21-year-old Rangeway man allegedly blew 0.141 when he was stopped in Rangeway about 12.04am.

He was also taken to Geraldton police station, where that figure was rounded down to 0.134.

Both were charged with drink driving and will appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court.
