Wonthella man facing drug charge

A 25-year-old Wonthella man has been charged after police allegedly found 1.33 grams of methamphetamines in his car today.

Officers allegedly found three small clip-seal bags containing the drug when they stopped the car at 1.50am.

The driver also allegedly tested positive to the drug at the scene and later at Geraldton Police Station.

He has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug and may face further charges pending analysis of his drug test.

He has also been charged with driving while his licence was suspended.
