Young stars shine in round two of the WA Junior Motocross Championships

While there was no action at the local track several of Geraldton’s best junior stars travelled down to Perth to compete in round two of the WA Motocross Junior State Championships. In contrast to conditions in Geraldton last week clear skies and sunshine greeted the riders from Geraldton who quickly found themselves in their element. Hours of dedicated training and extensive travel paid off as the results reflected the rewards of their hard work. One standout performer was Toby Edwards, who secured his first WA State series podium finish, marking a significant milestone in his budding career. Addison Orr’s performance earned her a well-deserved second place in the girls’ class, paving her way to the junior nationals scheduled for July. Dannielle Aggiss, from Geraldton Motocross Club, was grateful for all the support the riders received. “A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the Coastals MX Club for organising an excellent event. Their meticulous planning and execution ensured a memorable experience for all participants,” she said. “Anticipation grows for round three, set to take place in Bunbury in a few weeks time.
