IN PICTURES: Supporters gather at Gnowangerup to cheer on Ongerup sport grand final teams in chilly weather

Supporters of clubs from all corners of Ongerup sport competitions gathered at the Gnowangerup Sporting Complex on Saturday to cheer on their teams in netball, hockey and football grand finals. Hundreds of people made the trip to Gnowangerup despite heavy rain and wind for most of the day, with many taking the opportunity to gear up in club colours with beanies, scarves and jackets. The complex was packed from midday, with the A-grade netball and junior hockey and football finals kicking off, and the Ongerup Football Association league showdown to follow later in the afternoon. Gnowangerup made the home crowd happy with wins in both the junior and league football games, and Lake Grace-Pingrup made their supporters’ trip worthwhile as they took home the cup for the reserves. Jerramungup took out the A-grade netball title for the second year running and Newdegate made it two straight in the women’s hockey, spreading the success across the day.
