Lotto: One lucky West Aussie becomes instant millionaire bagging division one prize

One West Aussie’s life has changed forever after they won the division one prize in Monday’s draw.

The fortunate sandgroper was the only division one winner nationwide, bagging a monumental $1 million.

The winning numbers for draw#4572 were 40, 4, 42, 5, 9, 45 and the supplementary numbers were 6 and 2.

In division two, West Aussies were less lucky with only one out of the 10 winners who pocketed a handy $5,252.25 hailing from WA.

Monday’s win follows on from the success of a trio of West Aussies who bagged more than $919,000 in Saturday’s draw.

Gold Fortune Lottery Centre in Maddington and Greenwood Village Newsagency have been revealed as the in-store locations where two of the winning tickets were purchased, with the third being sold through Lotterywest Play Online.

After Saturday’s draw Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender emphasised players in WA have had abundant success this year.

“Thanks to this trio of wins, WA now boasts 33 division one Saturday Lotto wins so far this year, with these players sharing in more than $40 million in prizes,” she said.
