Check your back pocket, purse or wallet, turns out you might be a multi-millionaire.

Lotterywest has still not heard from the player who won a $7.5 million share in OZ Lotto’s $15 million jackpot on Tuesday, September 16 from a ticket purchased in Geraldton.

The division one ticket, which is currently unclaimed, was an unregistered Slikpik ticket where the system generates the numbers selected rather than the player choosing their own numbers. It was purchased from Queens Supa IGA in Geraldton on September 10.

Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said there was no way of contacting the owner of an unregistered ticket, which meant having to wait for the winner to come forward.

“If you had a Slikpik ticket from Queens Supa IGA in Geraldton for OZ Lotto’s jackpot on September 16, make sure to check your numbers because you could be a multi-millionaire,” she said.

“We can’t wait to meet the winner of this $7.5m prize and find out how they are going to enjoy their life-changing win.”

This win is the biggest, but not the first major Lotto success from Queens Supa IGA. In 2018, the store sold a $2.2m ticket in Saturday Lotto, which was one of nine division one winners from around the country in a $20m draw.

Queens IGA assistant store manager Monique Crowd said there was a buzz around the place after the news broke, and she hoped the winning ticketholder was a local.

“We have a lot of regulars that come and shop with us, so (it) could be any one of them,” she said.

The winning numbers from draw #1648 were 20, 35, 41, 3, 42, 37, 7. The supplementary numbers were 33, 30, 18.
