The Fremantle Dockers will visit Geraldton in February next year for a Community Camp as part of their preseason preparations.

The 2013 AFL grand finalists are expected to have a busy schedule on arrival to the Mid West.

AFL general manager people customer and community Dorothy Hisgrove said on the Fremantle website yesterday the club aimed to interact with as many community groups as possible.

“Players will carry out training sessions and visit schools, local football clubs, nursing homes and hospitals, bringing people together and promoting participation in footy at a grassroots level,” she said.

The Fremantle community camp will be held on February 18 and 19, during which time they will also visit the Mortlock and Midlands regions.
