Geraldton man facing firearms charges

A man has been charged with firearms offences after police raided a Geraldton property today.
Police allege the 43-year-old had earlier discharged a firearm in his possession.
Detectives and police from Geraldton executed a search warrant on the Wonthella house.
A Wonthella man has been charged with committing acts or omissions that are likely to, or do, endanger life, health or safety, possessing unlicensed firearm/ammunition and possessing a firearm where the identification mark differs on licence.
He is expected to appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
